To study the clinical profile of anterior uveitis in patients attending Ophthalmology department tertiary health centre central India A cross-sectional, observational was done from January 2017 to July 2019. total 199 cases were studied assess their presentation and etiology. After thorough history taking, demographic data pattern documented. Comprehensive ophthalmic evaluation, necessary laboratory investigations radiological imaging performed establish The maximum number (n=79; 39.7%) age group 21-40 years mean subjects 36.9+21.8 years. male female ratio 1:1.42 (117 females, 82 males). Uniocular disease found 91.95% majority (n=175; 87.93%) had acute with 95.47% having non granulomatous uveitis. specific diagnosis could not be made 62.8% cases. Trauma (21.7%) most common cause a diagnosis. Persistent posterior synechiae frequently seen complication (21.08%) although (66.8%) did reveal any major complications. Patients commonly presentation. rarely bilateral mostly non-granulomatous It idiopathic among known etiological factors, trauma cause.
